PM Kisan 20th Instalment Expected in June 2025

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme is set to release its 20th instalment in June 2025. Farmers across India are eagerly awaiting the Rs 2,000 payment. This money helps them with their agricultural needs and household expenses. However, not all farmers may receive their payment on time. To ensure timely payment, farmers must complete certain steps.

The PM-KISAN scheme was launched to support small and marginal farmers in India. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive a total of Rs 6,000 per year. This amount is divided into three instalments of Rs 2,000, paid every four months. The latest instalment, the 19th, was released on February 24, 2025. It benefited about 9.8 crore farmers, including 2.4 crore women.

To receive the 20th instalment, farmers must complete their e-KYC. This process is mandatory for all registered beneficiaries. Farmers can complete their e-KYC in two ways: through an OTP-based system on the official PM-Kisan website or via biometric verification at a Common Service Centre (CSC). It is essential to finish this task to avoid any hold-up in payments.

Farmers are also encouraged to ensure their Aadhaar number is correctly linked to their bank accounts. This linkage is crucial for the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system, which allows payments to be sent directly into their bank accounts. If farmers have not linked their Aadhaar, they should visit their bank as soon as possible.

To check if their name is on the beneficiary list, farmers can visit the PM-Kisan portal. They need to select ‘Know Your Status’ and enter their registration number. This will show them the current status of their application and whether they are eligible for the upcoming payment.

If they find their name on the list but do not receive the payment, farmers can file a complaint. They can do this through the Grievance Section on the PM-Kisan website or contact the helpline numbers provided on the site.

It is vital for farmers to keep their details updated. This includes ensuring their land records match the information provided during registration. If there are discrepancies, it could lead to payment delays.

The expected date for the 20th instalment is not officially confirmed yet, but based on past trends, it is likely to be released in the first or second week of June 2025. Farmers should stay informed by regularly checking the PM-Kisan website for updates. This scheme has been a significant support for millions of farmers in India, empowering them to manage their seasonal expenses and improve their agricultural practices.

In summary, to receive the upcoming Rs 2,000 payment without delay, farmers must:
1. Complete their e-KYC.
2. Ensure their Aadhaar is linked to their bank account.
3. Verify their name on the beneficiary list.
4. Update any incorrect details in their land records.

By following these steps, farmers can benefit from the financial support provided by the PM-KISAN scheme. It plays a crucial role in supporting the agricultural community and improving rural livelihoods across India.
